Terri  Hayden

Prior to joining the Pride Institute, Ms. Hayden served as the executive director of Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in St. Paul, MN for over 10 years. She also was director of chemical health services at Chrysalis, a Minneapolis nonprofit organization providing a wide array of care to women and their families. Ms. Hayden served as an adjunct professor at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Her undergraduate degree is in psychology from Augsburg College with a master’s degree in psychology from St. Mary’s University, both located in Minneapolis.

As a native Minnesotan, Terri lives with her husband Jeff, son Tomas (22) and daughter Sophia (17.) The other “family” members include Sugar Cookie, a 10 year old Yorkie and Dash a 5 month old Golden Doodle.

Terri’s essence is nourished by engaging in many diverse communities. Her mantra is to foster dignity and respect for all people, allowing them to realize their unique potential. She is excited to empower Pride with her vision of inclusivity for everyone.
