Unique Treatment Options
to Fit Your Needs
The Pride Institute is an inclusive and accepting program that has been helping members of the LGBTQ+ community since 1986. Each program at Pride is designed to meet the needs of each patient, offering an individual treatment plan as unique as they are. We don’t deal with addiction and mental health issues in a vacuum. We tackle these disorders within the context of the whole person. As a result, recovery doesn’t just mean living substance-free, it means living a more integrated and expressive life.
Challenges within the LGBTQ community are often unique and nuanced. In traditional treatment centers, these challenges may be unknown, overlooked or unaccepted. As a result, these insensitivities can make you feel antagonistic or misunderstood. At Pride Institute, we already understand the existing issues of the LGBTQ community so we can get right to work helping you overcome the issues that brought you to treatment.
Our treatment program components are designed to promote successful recovery for the LGBTQ patient and include cultural sensitivity, awareness of the impact of cultural victimization and address issues of internalized shame and negative self-acceptance. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) challenges internalized negative beliefs and promotes emotional regulation, leader to improved self-worth, a healthier outlook and a greater chance of achieving sobriety.
Residential Treatment Center for Adults
Our residential treatment program provides guidance in developing coping skills, life balance and other tools needed for long-term recovery.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) with Lodging
By alternating time with family and friends with time in treatment, our PHP patients receive a greater degree of autonomy and normalcy in our partial hospitalization program.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Adults
Our intensive outpatient program is an option for patients who have stable living environments or do not require extensive residential programming.
Kindred Family Program
Held twice a month, the Kindred Program helps the patient and their defined family connect through education and therapy.
