Pride Institute’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) is perfect for patients who are not yet ready for outpatient care by itself. We help you to overcome obstacles in recovery, gain new, healthy coping skills and achieve your individual treatment goals.

We offer an intensive treatment experience for those who don’t need the security of 24-hour care, but require more than conventional outpatient treatment. By alternating time with family and friends and treatment, our patients receive a greater degree of autonomy and normalcy.

The longer treatment day of a PHP allows for more successful symptom interruption, more frequent intensive group therapy and greater involvement with the patient’s loved ones. Partial hospitalization provides an appropriate degree of care and comfort with the ability to test out new behaviors in the community setting.

The program meets a minimum of eight hours a day, seven days a week to address recovery needs in our residential treatment facility, beautifully located on five acres of wooded land in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. We also work with community professionals around the globe – including physicians, therapists, halfway houses and sober living options – to ensure appropriate aftercare.

LGBTQ Lodging Home for PHP

To support this program for our out-of-state clients, our PHP house is located within three miles of the residential treatment center at Spring Hill Circle. Housing up to eight patients and located in a quiet residential neighborhood, it has a large backyard with a deck, updated kitchen and many more amenities. Programming runs from 8 am to 6 pm or later, as needed at the treatment center. All patient meals are served at Pride’s residential treatment center.

At Pride Institute, gay is understood; being LGBTQ is the norm, not the exception. Our highly trained and skilled staff understands your issues and will help you live a happy, healthy life as a proud LGBTQ person. We can offer you hope in overcoming your addiction and living the life you want. Our treatment programs are designed to help in developing the knowledge, skills, and attitudes for long-term recovery.
