Extending Our Community Network

Pride Institute has been helping the LGBTQ+ community walk the road to recovery since 1986, but we haven’t done the work alone. We’ve worked with several organizations over the years to support our mission of providing help and treatment to community members struggling with addiction and mental health.

We’re currently proud to partner with Out & Sober Minnesota, a local organization dedicated to connecting LGBTQ+ people in recovery to sober support networks through social and educational events. Pride also partners with Pink Cloud Foundation, a Minneapolis-based nonprofit that provides financial assistance, support services, and other resources to those transitioning from in-patient drug/alcohol treatment facilities to sober housing. We’re also proud to partner with the Minnesota branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), which provides support and advocacy for people and families working through mental health issues.

OUR ACTION ALLIANCE PARTNERSHIP

The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance), a public-private partnership, has partnered with Pride Institute, to strengthen the country’s clinical capacity to provide innovative suicide prevention and care. The partnership significantly advances one of the central priorities of the Action Alliance—to transform health systems and reduce suicides—and marks Pride Institute’s commitment to be at the leading edge of the transformation.

As a proud supporter of the National Action Alliance on Suicide Prevention, Pride Institute provides education and resources to the communities we serve.

The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers

NAATP is a nonprofit professional society that represents hundreds of not-for-profit and for-profit addiction treatment providers who offer critical services along the full continuum of care, from intervention, transportation, private therapy, outpatient care, hospitalization, residential treatment, and continuing/aftercare.
